July 30 during a business visit to the Southern Urals the General Director of  WGC-3 Vladimir Kolmogorov stopped by the Yuzhnouralskaya TPP. He visited the main shops of the power plant and the site where the construction of the new power generation complex Yuzhnouralskaya-2 is soon to begin.

The meeting leaded by the General Director of  WGC-3 with the management of the power plant demonstrated that in spite of its rather advanced age (it’s been in operation since 1952) the Thermal Power Plant is ready to operate at full capacity. The repair and  maintenance schedule is strictly adhered to, the complex has highly qualified personnel. Summing up the conference Vladimir Kolmogorov noted, ‘Our goal has always been the same, to generate electricity for large and small consumers. Our task to work so everyone can be sure of their future. Very soon there is going to be new construction at the plant, this will be a powerful impetus for further development, it will give the plant a second breath in the form of new people and new technologies.’
