The strategy and tactics of participating of the WGC-3 affiliates in the WEM free trade sector is being shaped based on daily analyzing of price movement regarding every price areas of the wholesale market with regard for specifics of the regions and generating equipment involved in the generation process, which makes it possible to optimize the operating regimes of power generation units, fuel flow and, respectively, to reduce the power generation cost and obtain a significant economic effect.
Besides, the WGC-3 is taking an active part in simulation trading in the New Wholesale Market of Electricity and Power, making analysis of the results obtained and working out a model of the most efficient strategy of selling electricity in conditions of the oncoming opening of the NWMEP.
